What do you get if you crossbreed a natural pilsener with a brewed fruit lemonade? Right, a Bastard. Hertog Jan Bastard is a fresh summery Radler with exciting ingredients The brewers at Hertog Jan, a Dutch brand held by AB Inbev, have put their expertise to work to create a light, fresh variant of the crafty beers they make normally. Did you know the brewery is situated at that exact location in Arcen, Limburg because of the well of fresh water that’s right underneath?
Shooting this film wasn’t easy. it was winter time and the film obviously needed to look like fresh summers day. An other complicating factor was the signature ‘beer drop’ shot in the middle of the film. Shooting at camera speeds of 1000 frames per second isn’t easy on location: you need intense levels of light. But we made it and are pretty pleased with the result.
