Junior Editor / VTR Operator

Ready to help us make food famous? We’re looking for a junior editor/VTR operator to strengthen our team.
The role
As a Junior Editor, you will assist with preparing and organising editorial projects, managing media, assembling rough cuts, and ensuring smooth workflows throughout the editing process. You will work closely with editors and our post-production supervisor, and producers to help bring stories to life. As the VTR operator, you play a vital role in ensuring that the director, cinematographer, and other key crew members have instant access to live and recorded camera feeds throughout the shoot.

Please note: as we work from our studio and not remotely, we are looking for someone who lives in or near the Amsterdam area.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and organising editorial projects

- Ensuring that the director, cinematographer, and other key crew members have instant access to live and recorded camera feeds throughout the shoot
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in post-production, editing, or on-set support
- Internship or professional experience on commercial productions is a plus
- Understanding of camera workflows and on-set production processes.
- A strong interest in high-end commercial productions is more important than years of experience
- Able to stay calm and accurate under pressure
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong eye for detail and image quality
- Knowledge of digital cinema cameras and video signal standards.
- Experience with wireless video transmission systems.
- Flexible and comfortable working with changing production schedules
