Produced exclusively in Brazil and aged in wooden barrels it has a unique flavor with plenty of rich combinations.
Using sugarcane as its main base it can be savoured on its own or within many cocktails – most famous of which is caipirinha.
As the third most consumed locally produced distillate in the world (second only to Vodka in Russia and Korean Soju), It’s estimated there is a local production capacity of approximately 1.2 billion litres per year – yet only 800 million litres are annually produced and less than 1% of that is exported globally.
